Wakefield Charity Christmas Post 2016

Michael Richmond at his Busy Corner shop with Richard EdgeTHE club's Christmas Post was in operation once again in 2016. The launch date was Saturday 19th November when special 30p charity stamps became widely available throughout Wakefield.

We are really pleased that with the co-operation of the Rotary Club of Ossett all of WF5 was included in 2016 (including, for the first time, Horbury, Middlestown and Netherton) in addition to WF1, WF2 and large parts of WF4 including Calder Grove, Crigglestone, Durkar, Great Cliff, Hall Green, Notton, Painthorpe, West Bretton and Woolley BUT NOT Crofton, Flockton and Grange Moor

We were delighted that we were able to increase the delivery area again but we could always do to have more delivery helpers between the 16th and 23rd December. If you would like to become involved please write to us via the CONTACT US button above.

Every penny of the 30p charge is being donated to charity thanks to the sponsorship of Trinity Walk Shopping and Richard Kendall Estate Agents

Once again employees of First Direct, under their own Community Support Programme, sorted the mail and helped with deliveries.
